First Post: Quantum Computing...a GAME changer.

As you all will come to learn I will post either my own thoughts and articles but I will also be "re-blogging" other articles and items I come across that I find interesting and fascinating.

Quantum Computing to most seems like a Star Trek dream, something far off in the distant galaxy that earth will never achieve. That being said most do not actually know what quantum computing is. I have learned over the years when researching for new products and to flush out new functionalities for products it is best and easiest to understand something if you can explain a use case. How you might apply the technology or use the technology.

When you Google "What is quantum computing?" you get an array of options that all circle around the same thing but remain aloof. IBM defines quantum computing as "Quantum computing harnesses the phenomena of quantum mechanics to deliver a huge leap forward in computation to solve certain problems. IBM designed quantum computers to solve complex problems that today's most powerful supercomputers cannot solve, and never will."

Well that is a pretty broad non-specific definition. So that leads me back to lets check out a use case for quantum computing... simply put because a quantum computer can run millions of computational models in a matter of seconds where a super-computer would take days quantum computing will revolutionize the computer age. It will change every industry as we know it.
